Nar-Phu Annapurna Trek

Trip Overview

Nar Phu Annapurna Trek – A Hidden Himalayan Odyssey

Venture off the well-trodden trails and into the wild, mystical heart of the Himalayas with Kora Quest Adventure. The Nar Phu Annapurna Trek is a rare journey through one of Nepal’s most secluded and culturally rich regions—where ancient Tibetan heritage meets dramatic mountain landscapes untouched by time.

Beginning from the vibrant city of Kathmandu, your journey moves toward Besisahar and then gradually diverges from the classic Annapurna Circuit. Entering the hidden valleys of Nar and Phu, you’ll walk through narrow gorges, deep canyons, and medieval stone villages where life remains as it has for centuries. Colorful prayer flags flutter above stone chortens, and centuries-old monasteries watch over these remote mountain communities.

One of the most awe-inspiring moments of the trek is crossing the Kang La Pass (5,320m)—a challenging but rewarding ascent that offers sweeping views of the Annapurna range. From the top, the vast world of snow-capped peaks unfolds in silence and splendor.

Rejoining the classic trail at Manang, your journey continues to the legendary Thorong La Pass (5,416m), the highest point of the trek. The contrast between the untouched valleys of Nar Phu and the bustling energy of the Annapurna Circuit makes this experience both diverse and deeply enriching.

The Nar Phu Annapurna Trek is not just about breathtaking scenery; it’s a cultural pilgrimage. As you pass through ancient settlements and sacred sites, you'll witness a way of life shaped by isolation, belief, and deep harmony with nature.

At Kora Quest Adventure, we specialize in guiding trekkers into the heart of Nepal’s most unique and rewarding landscapes. With expert leadership, cultural insight, and a focus on safety and sustainability, we ensure your adventure is authentic, transformative, and unforgettable.

Walk where few have walked. Discover Nar Phu with Kora Quest Adventure—Nepal, beyond imagination.
