Kora Quest Adventure was born from the shared passion, lifelong friendship, and mountain roots of Tashi and Tenzin Jorden—two seasoned guides who have spent most of their lives exploring, understanding, and guiding others through the rugged beauty of the Himalayas.
Both Tashi and Tenzin hail from the breathtaking Kanchenjunga region in eastern Nepal, a place where mountains aren’t just scenery—they’re a way of life. Childhood friends from the same village, they grew up surrounded by towering peaks and age-old trails that sparked their early fascination with trekking and exploration. Their bond only grew stronger over time as they journeyed to India together to pursue their education, eventually earning their Bachelor’s degrees side by side.
After returning home, both followed their passion into the world of trekking and expeditions. Tashi began guiding professionally over 13 years ago and quickly earned a reputation for his deep knowledge of the Himalayan terrain, safety practices, and cultural sensitivity. Tenzin Jorden, equally driven, has been guiding for nearly 10 years, leading treks across many regions of Nepal—from the remote corners of Dolpo to the iconic trails of Annapurna and Everest. His passion for the mountains and for helping others experience their magic is always evident in his work.
Their shared background, trust in each other, and years of guiding experience naturally led to the next step: founding a company together. That dream became a reality with Kora Quest Adventure—a company grounded in local knowledge, fueled by genuine friendship, and committed to delivering meaningful, safe, and transformative Himalayan journeys.
